How does the spiciness level work?

It hints to the tool how hard or stressful you find the task. The spicier the level, the more steps the tool will attempt to break the task down into. It's not an exact measure, more of a hint to the system.

How does cloud synchronization work?

All devices with the same username and password will synchronise lists. Your list is encrypted on your devices using your username and password and cannot be seen or decrypted by admins. Synchronization is not instant and can take a few seconds for changes to appear on other devices.
