By simply entering a song title into the search bar, the tool locates the song online and processes it using advanced AI. This process leverages Facebook's Demucs project, a state-of-the-art AI model specialized in music source separation.

The application automatically generates four distinct stems: vocals, drums, bass, and a track containing the remaining musical elements. Additionally, StemRoller conveniently creates a combined instrumental track by mixing all non-vocal stems, perfect for karaoke or practice. As a completely free and open-source tool, it offers powerful stem separation capabilities accessible to everyone.
