Frequently Asked Questions

What exactly counts as a managed entity?

A managed entity is any object in your system for which Stigg makes a real-time enforcement decision, such as a customer account with entitlements, a user with a subscription, an AI agent with a credit budget, or a team with a spending limit.

Do sandbox and test objects count toward my bill?

No, sandbox, test, and inactive objects do not count toward your bill. Only actively governed entities in production are billed.

How does graduated pricing work on the Pro plan?

The Pro plan includes 10,000 entities and 25M usage events in the base fee. Beyond these, additional usage is billed at per-tier graduated rates, so the unit cost decreases as you scale.

What is BYOC and when should I use it?

BYOC (Bring Your Own Cloud) allows you to run Stigg within your own VPC, optionally with your own database and event queue, offering unlimited event throughput and data sovereignty ideal for large-scale and enterprise AI applications.

Is invoicing available on the free tier?

Yes, invoicing via Stigg, Stripe, and Airwallex is available on every plan, including the free Build tier.
