Cyborg Writer is presented as an experimental text editor integrated with a neural text synthesizer. It's designed primarily to assist users who are experiencing writer's block. The tool employs an artificial neural network that runs directly within the user's browser.

When a user feels stuck while writing, pressing the Tab key prompts the AI to suggest a completion for the current sentence. A unique feature is the ability to generate these completions in various distinct styles, including William Shakespeare, the US Supreme Court, or Tupac Shakur, offering creative inspiration. The project cites Robin Sloan's rnn-writer as inspiration and is built using TensorFire and CodeMirror by Kevin Kwok, Guillermo Webster, Anish Athalye, and Logan Engstrom.
