Description
Wikitude was a prominent Augmented Reality (AR) Software Development Kit (SDK) designed for mobile platforms. For over a decade, it empowered developers to integrate AR functionalities into their applications, leading to the creation of over 40,000 mobile apps experienced by millions of users.
However, as of September 21, 2024, all Wikitude services, including the SDK, Wikitude Studio, Cloud services, and associated APIs, have been officially shut down and are no longer available or supported. Data stored on Wikitude servers has also become inaccessible. The company, now part of Qualcomm, is focusing its efforts on headworn XR experiences through the Snapdragon Spaces™ XR Developer Platform.
